We hiked to the waterfalls — a bit challenging but absolutely worth it. We were warmly welcomed by locals and enjoyed traditional meals by the riverside. The Ourika Valley was a peaceful, authentic escape from the city’s bustle. Then came a truly magical experience in the Agafay Desert, just outside Marrakech. Although it’s a rocky desert rather than one of dunes, the vast, lunar landscape was breathtaking. As the sun set, the sky turned golden, and we sat down to a traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars in a desert camp. It was a timeless moment — serene, powerful, unforgettable.
